Argyle™* is now Ritus™

Mozarc Medical is pleased to share a brand evolution for our peritoneal dialysis and fistula cannula product portfolios.

This forthcoming brand change, from Argyle™* to Ritus™, aligns with one of our company’s core values — to put patients and quality first.

 By creating a brand that reflects these values, the name Ritus™ combines two key aspects of effective peritoneal dialysis care:

  1. “Rit-” comes from ritual, or predictable technique and outcome
  2. “-us” represents partnership between Mozarc and clinicians, and clinicians and patients

Please be assured that this is a brand update in name only, not a product change. The products’ specifications, product codes, quality, and performance you rely on will remain the same.

Argyle™* Brand name change FAQ:

Q: Is this a new product?
A: No, only the name is changing.  All other aspects of the product remain the same (product design, use, indications, etc)

Q: What will this change look like?
A: You will see this name change on our labels for PD catheters and insertion accessories, as well as the fistula cannula. You will also see this name change on our website and product informational materials.

Q: Will SKUs or catalog numbers change?
A: For our peritoneal dialysis catheter and accessories portfolio, all SKUs remain the same. Some fistula cannula SKUs may change depending on geography. 

Q: Why Ritus™?
A: “Rit-” reflects predictable technique and outcome; “-us” represents collaboration between Mozarc and clinicians.

Q: Why is this change happening now?
A: As a newly independent company, Mozarc Medical is evolving.

Q: Why am I still able to purchase Argyle™* products?
A: Any pre-exiting product labeling under the Argyle™* brand is currently being phased out. Customers may see both Argyle™* and Ritus™ labels in the market simultaneously during the transition. With only the brand name differences, all other labeling information is the same.

Q: Why am I still receiving Argyle™* branded product?
A: During this branding transition, you may notice a dual manufacturing strategy in which both brand names will exist simultaneously (in some regions). You may continue to receive Argyle™* branded products for some SKUs while we complete the transition and phase-in the Ritus™ branded products.
