MICROPLAS Plasmafilter
Intended for separating plasma from whole blood.
The MICROPLAS single-use device consists of a cylindrical polycarbonate body containing a bundle of microporous, highly permeable polyethersulfone (MicroPES) hollow fibers secured to the ends by hotmelt polyurethane resin.
Applicable therapies
Device that separates a part of the plasma from the blood corpuscles in all conditions that require the extraction of the plasma and/or the removal of its components.
In particular, it is used for medical prescriptions that include:
- The removal of plasma to carry out apheresis treatment
- Plasma separation followed by adsorption or perfusion with subsequent reinfusion of the plasma
