Overview
Supported by Carbothane™* material construction, the Mahurkar™* Chronic Carbothane™* catheter design discourages recirculation while supporting high vascular flow rates and adequate pressure for hemodialysis.1 Ideal for central venous catheter (CVC) placement in the right atrium via right internal jugular (IJ), this catheter can also be placed in the external jugular, subclavian, femoral, or saphenous vein.

Important safety information
The Mahurkar™* 14.5 Fr chronic carbothane catheter is intended for acute and chronic hemodialysis, apheresis, and infusion. It may be inserted either percutaneously or by cutdown.
Do not use the catheter in thrombosed vessels or for subclavian puncture when ventilator is in use.
